Global School Play Day on February 7th: I am putting out a request for a few items that families may be able to donate to our class for http://www.globalschoolplayday.com/ and school community for OPAL being introduced to our students. This is part of promoting and providing opportunities for our students to engage in unstructured outdoor play. A formal request will be sent out by our school soon BUT I need a few things for my class as we explore and reflect on this learning experience. We are starting small and anything that can be shared is very much appreciated.

MATH: Data Management: Bowling Project: students have created three different graphs, completed number sentences finding the averages (Mean / Median / Mode / Range) and responded to questions analyzing the data. Next, peer feedback will be provided based on the Success Criteria. Then, students will use Google Sheets to graph data and use feedback to bump up their analysis.
WRITING: As revisions are finalized, stories will be uploads into BookTrack creating ebooks with a soundtrack.
HEALTH: Today, students independently designed a magazine cover to accompany their Healthy Living article. Articles will be finalized this week and ready to share soon.
